My full-length play The Missouri Cycle is a collection of three one-act plays, two ten-minute plays, and seven monologs. My mission this year is to have every piece read aloud. Scripteasers of San Diego has already read two with another slated for the fall. San Diego Playwrights will read a second piece on April 11th at Diversionary Theatre at their WordPlay Tuesday series.
A Grave Situation, from The Missouri Cycle, will be performed as part of Athena Cats New Works Festival in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, April 8th. There will be two performances: 1 pm and 3 pm, at City Garage, Bergamot Station Arts Center, Bldg T1, 2525 Michigan Avenue.
Till Darkness Comes is now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook everywhere books are sold. NYT best-selling thriller writer Chelsea Cain says: “I wish I had half the plotting talent of Sandra de Helen. This is a terrific and totally satisfying book.”
My mystery novels, the Shirley Combs/Dr. Mary Watson series, are now available in serial format on Chanillo.com at this link. Chanillo offers different levels of membership, and for only $4.99 a month, you can subscribe for up to 10 different series. You can click on the authors to see who they’re reading as well. Even if you don’t want to buy, go have a look. If you click on View next to anything, you can read a sample. I’m reading a few serials there myself. And if you’re an author, you may want to write for them. Go check them out.
Please support Indie Bookstores. While my books are available online, when you buy my books at Another Read Through in Portland or Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore in San Diego, you will find I have PRICED THEM BELOW what you can get them for online. And I will continue to do so. Indie bookstores rock!
